CSVJetty gives your application a complete CSV upload workflow: file upload, automatic column matching, validation, inline correction, and delivery of clean records to your application.

Install

BASH

npm install csvjetty

Create an importer in the CSVJetty dashboard and copy its public importer key. The key identifies the column configuration and delivery settings for that importer. Learn more about importers.

Quick start

ImportContacts.jsx

"use client";
import CSVJetty from "csvjetty";
export default function ImportContacts() {  return (    <CSVJetty      importerKey="YOUR_IMPORTER_KEY"      onData={async ({ rows }) => {        console.log(rows);      }}    >      Import contacts    </CSVJetty>  );}

Clicking the button opens CSVJetty inside your app. With callback delivery, the parsed and validated row data is passed to your onData handler.

How it works

Open or download this recording

27-second dashboard preview: upload, mapping and correction. Preview mode does not deliver records to your application.

  • Your user selects a CSV file.
  • CSVJetty suggests matches between uploaded headers and your fields.
  • Required values and configured data types are validated.
  • The user can correct invalid values before importing.
  • CSVJetty delivers the resulting records by callback or webhook.

Original CSV files are not stored

CSVJetty never stores the original uploaded CSV file. With callback delivery, imported row data stays in the browser until your application handles it. Webhook delivery temporarily retains payloads for reliable delivery and retries.

For a complete mental model, read How CSVJetty works.
